A friend and I were viewing an exhibit a while back and she told me about TED talks--in particular, the talk on beauty. I recently searched for the talk she was referring to and think this is it: Denis Dutton: A Darwinian Theory of Beauty. Dutton collaborates with animator Andrew Park. Take a coffee break and enjoy this one. Now I understand why I'm drawn to photograph and paint certain landscapes. It's in my genes and those genes go way, way back.
|The red wreath is still on the shed door. Think I will keep it there until all this snow melts. The red behind the icicles is the front of the snowblower.|
|And here is the completed collage.|
